Back To It

Moaning Monday is going away. There's enough crappy things going on these days. Reading one more persons accounting of it is a downer none of us need. Be assured, though, you'll still hear about the random things that occasionally happen around here.
The kids are back to school. K1 is back to work. Getting everyone up this morning wasn't as challenging as I feared, but we all know how that goes. Tomorrow will be harder, and it'll become a chore from there. We are supposed to get some winter weather tomorrow night into Wednesday and the potential for snow days or delays always changes things a little.
I worked on edits all day yesterday in between the usual Sunday obligations. I even managed to avoid Facebook for most of the day. At this point, I'm reading and making notes. I already have 2 1/2 pages of notes - things I need to fix, explain, rearrange and motivations that don't make sense. And that's fine.
Here's a random sampling of what I'm talking about. It's exactly as I wrote it:
Chapter 1:
How can she send mail if they're being watched?
How did the Miller's tip off the patrols?
page 11: change once upon a time section
page 28: hidden bag - where?
page 43: wrought iron work
page 71: heat got to who? -how'd they get through the gates?
page 78: Just her socks?
pages 87, 88: her knowing? Change. Too convenient. Maybe have them find out later.
page 90: gets (Matt) over it too soon. Revelation part.
page 103: Why did she walk when she knew she'd have antidote to carry back?
page 116: Change - she hoped - she designed it she should be confident it'll work.
Makes sense to me. I skipped a lot of the entries, but constant lines of "rearrange paragraph" is kind of boring. I still love this story and that's a good thing.
Time to get busy!
Behave!

Good!
It cracks me up to read over my notes. At least I know what they mean!

page 78: Just her socks?

I can't wait to find out what this one means!

Ah, but by the time you see it, I will have fixed it and she won't be coming down the stairs in just her socks. LOL
