It's been a while. I know. I'd apologize for that, but last season was just so... I don't know... Not normal. Good, but not my Supernatural. I'd go into it, but let's not.
Let's face forward and stay that way...
So... Last night... Loved it! Loved Dean coming back from purgatory and stressing out the campers. Loved the subplot with the vampire (and loved the vamp, too... oy! his voice!) (Interested to find out what they did down there and what happens next with Dean and the vampire! And where is Cass?) And Sam! His hair! Oy! That's some good hair! And Wow! Why is Dean being such a bitch to Sam about quitting? Didn't Dean do the same thing after Sam fell into the pit with Lucifer? Anyway - I think we'll hear more on that later, because... the cabin? Why did Sam go there to begin with? And why didn't he take his new dog?
Kevin! I love Kevin! (There are a lot of ! in this post!) What a smart kid! And sarcastic, too. I can't wait to see how his character develops this season.
Crowley has always been one of my favorites. (He has that voice, too) Love his desperation and total frustration with Kevin, Sam, and Dean.
I need to watch this episode again, but let me sum up by saying... This episode has restored my utter and true love of my very favorite show! I am so looking forward to this season! I'm going to have to adjust to Wednesday nights, but for me, Wednesdays are way better than Friday!
I will keep you posted!

Dear Supernatural People,
I haven't written in a while. Don't think it's because I have nothing to say. That's not it at all.
I loved, loved, loved this episode. Yes, I loved it even more because I got to watch it at the beach with the bff's, but it was way more than that.
Dean in the 40's with Elliot Ness! How cool is that? Loved that Ness is a hunter. The clothes, Erma, "lettuce", all so very great. Dean's obsession with The Untouchables = Squee!
Sheriff Mills is one of my favorite characters. I so wish she and Bobby would have had the chance to be together. I loved that she thought of Sam and Dean, and then went to help Sam.
Loved Dean's hacking skills and how he hid the letter in the old house for Sam to find.
This episode was rich with so much goodness - great lines, great characters, Dean in the 40's suit!
I miss Bobby, though. So much. *Sigh*
I hope my cable provider decides to give me my channel back so I can actually watch on Friday night.
Thanks, Supernatural people. You're awesome. (and yes, I'm waiting to see what happens with Bobby. Reserving judgment, even though I'm really, really sad!)

Dear Supernatural People,
(I am sorry this is the first Dear Supernatural People post I've done this season. That's too sad. I'll try to do better, but there's only one more episode before Hellatus...)
Loved it!
Poor Dean. He was so funny all drugged up on turducken nirvana. And so pretty when he was sleeping it off. I still worry about Sam with the way he squeezed his reality button on his hand while he was worrying to Bobby. Guess we'll see about that in another episode. Bobby was fantastic, as usual. I'm not saying anything about the end yet, because I refuse to think about it right now.
Dick...well, he lives up to his name, for sure. He's a fantastic character and the evil is played so well. Interesting that he can heal himself from the power clean stuff that takes the rest of them down. Bobby played it cool, but the little freak out he had on his face when he was looking at the folders on Dick's desk is kind of foreboding.
I loved this episode. So much. Loved them walking through the woods with their guns reminiscing about Bobby teaching them to hunt and how they couldn't shoot Bambi. And that guy - or whatever he was by then - was really creepy.
One more episode before another dry spell...*Sigh*

Dear Supernatural People,
Man, I've missed you!
I didn't realize how much until this week.
Love the leviathan story line, but poor Cass. Dean fishing Cass's trench coat out of the public water supply was sad. So, so many good lines in this episode. Poor Sam! I hope he figures it out and is able to overcome. And Dean. He's so tortured, but can't admit it!
Loved the return of Sherrif Mills and the creepy, cute doctor. Those leviathan's have the grosses mouths, but I love them! Bobby was fantastic!
I'm loving this season so far! Can't wait for next week!
I have missed you, Supernatural People! I wasn't sure about this season, but you have proved me so very wrong!

Dear Supernatural People,
Frontierland! I loved it!
That first scene with Dean and the cowboy hat...I almost died! And Sam in his hat! Double joy!
What a great episode! I loved the Back to the Future references, and apparently I missed the Blazing Saddles one because the people I live with would not be quiet, or stop getting in front of the TV.
I really want to know what Cass is up to - I'm a little worried about that and that his end won't justify the means. I have a few theories that I'll keep to myself for now, but I really hope Sam and Dean find a way to help him. The angel who came and started reaming them out was right, they don't seem to care what Cass is facing. Maybe they do care, they just don't think they can help. I don't know.
There were a ton of good lines! A ton! Mostly from Bobby. I loved how he didn't even flinch when Cass needed to touch his soul.
The phoenix was awesome! It was a good thing he started shooting at Dean because I think Dean would have had a hard time destroying him otherwise. Oh and the bar girl with the tobacco stains on her mouth! Gross, but a nice touch. I loved finding out Dean is obsessed with Westerns and his "not awesome" remark when they went into the saloon. And Samuel Colt!
And, of course, I was crushed when they came back without the phoenix's ashes. But then Samuel Colt sent them ala Back to the Future, which was particularly awesome.
I need to watch it again! Mainly for the cowboy hats, but to see the stuff I know I missed thanks to those people I live with.
Thanks, Supernatural People, for another fantastic episode!

Dear Supernatural People,
You're killing me with the hellatus! April is a very, very long time to be without!
(So I had a pretty decent post, but then I hit a wrong key and it all left. No matter what I did I couldn't get it back. So I will try to recreate...)
So...
I loved that it was a family-centric episode. I loved Bobby's story about how he and Rufus met and how he and Rufus were like Sam and Dean at one time. I hated that Rufus said he'd never forgive Bobby for Omaha. Whatever happened must have been bad - who or what did Rufus lose? I really thought Rufus had the bug in him...
Grandpa is dead. And well...I can't say I'm sad about that. I loved how Dean charged into the room, ready to kill him like he said he would. I loved the dynamic between Sam and Dean and how they had each other's backs. They were themselves - better than themselves.
And I nearly died when I thought Bobby was dead! I was in horrified shock. For real.
Not so sure about the creature inside Bobby and the things he said. Or the "bug", but I'm very intrigued to see what happens next.
Overall, a sweet episode! But you're killing me with the long wait!!

Dear Supernatural People,
Creepy mannequins! Yay! Scary, but way cool.
There was so much to love about this episode - creepy mannequins (I think I already said that), the ghost storyline (I've missed those). Sam and Dean's relationship - I like how they're not hiding things, but not bawling about what happened either. Sam sending Dean home to take care of Lisa and Ben. That broke my heart. All of it. Lisa's right. Dean's right. *sigh* Poor Ben. I have to wonder what he'll grow up to become because of Dean's influence on his life.
I loved how Sam took care of the problem (pretty much). How he was...himself, but with an edge I really liked.
It's my show again and I couldn't be happier!
Next week looks hysterical!
Thank you, Supernatural People!

Dear Supernatural People,
It's been a while! Welcome back. I didn't realize how much I'd missed you until about five minutes before the show started. That's when it finally hit me that the show was back and Sam could be back.
Oh! The hug! Sam is back! Whoot!
I understand why Dean didn't want to tell him what happened. I didn't like it, but I was glad things worked out the way they did. Bobby's coolness towards Sam is also understandable. I hope they have a heart-to-heart, or something, that helps Bobby forgive Sam for trying to kill him. I also don't think the wall or whatever Death put up is going to hold for long, though. And I want to believe Sam is strong enough to deal with what happened to him while locked in the box with Lucifer and Michael. Guess we'll see about that one.
White shirt! Very poetic with the "virginal" theme running throughout the show. And very lovely to look at. I couldn't really tell you what Sam and Dean were talking about during that scene. All I could see was the white shirt!
Loved the dragon storyline. Nicely done. I'd like to know more about the dragon mythology, but that's just me. And maybe we'll find out more in the next few episodes. Loved the "big bad" and can't wait to see what happens next. Way to put a fresh spin on things.
Thank you for giving me my love back, Supernatural People. I'd feared my passion had waned during the beginning of this season, but I hoped you'd bring things around and that the disjointed, off feel of the show was intentional. I believe it very well could have been. I guess time will tell with that one.
But...I'm so glad my Friday's are now complete again.
Until next week...

Dear Supernatural People,
First off, I am crying that we have to wait until the end of January for a new episode. That stinks big time!
This episode was awesome! Way to keep me on the edge of my seat for the entire time. I loved the whole thing.
I'm so glad Sam's soul is back, because really, there was no where else to go after this episode. What was he supposed to do, hug Bobby and apologize for wanting to kill him? That was never going to go away and it was never going to be okay. Sam would have eventually killed him to ensure his soul wasn't returned. And then there's the irreparably broken relationship with Dean. You can't fix that. No matter what. Sam without a soul was a monster and was becoming more of one every episode. I will admit that I loved his hardness and his persona, but I'm ready to have emo Sam back.
I loved the characterization of Death. I loved that Dean talked to him with his sarcasm, despite Death's ability to kill him on the spot. I loved that Death wanted Dean to learn how they screw with the order of things. And I loved that despite how much Dean wanted Sam's soul back, he did the right thing in saving the husband of the dead nurse.
So, Thank You, Supernatural People, for another great episode.

Dear Supernatural People,
Loved it!
My "real" post will have to wait until I've watched it again. There was general chaos here and I missed a lot. But I did love it and I love how Dean now appears to have to be Sam's conscience.
Hopefully it'll be up at the CW tomorrow.
Until then...

Dear Supernatural People,
Whoa! Just Whoa! Fantastic episode! Thank you so much for beginning to answer what in the heck is wrong with Sam. No soul! Whoot! That's brilliant and I cannot wait to see what happens next and find out who has his soul and why.
I love how every episode adds to the overarcing plotline of the alpha monsters and what is going on without hitting us over the head with it. It's been very nicely done so far, so well, in fact, that I sometimes forget that it's happening. But it's building and I like that very much.
Sam's buttheadedness was getting on my nerves, but now...Now I have that tender spot back because there is something wrong with him. Something horrible, cool, but horrible. It's ironic that he can't feel anything now, when he's always been the one who feels too much.
Loved Bobby's confessions and how squicked out Dean was. Everyone's truths were so negative though, which I guess was the price you pay for asking for the truth. How else would she get her snacks? That's tricky, like rubbing a genie's lamp or something. The whole 'be careful what you wish for' thing. Poor Dean. Lisa really cut him off at the knees. I liked that he had her to go home to and I hope he gets her back.
The previews for next week look awesome! I can't wait to see what happens next!
Thank you, Supernatural People. I will admit my skepticism and worry at the beginning of this season, but every week you prove to me that you know what you're doing and you have our best interests at heart.

Dear Supernatural People,
Good one!
Loved the whole episode, especially the Twilight spoofing. Very funny stuff. Many, many good lines, especially from Dean (vampires pee).
Who is Sam though? There's an interesting theory in the recap of last night over at Supernatural Sisters that Sam is still in there, but is sharing his body with another entity. I like that theory. I think she might be right, because, as she said, sometimes Sam is Sam. And sometimes he's the douche he was last night. I wanted to smack that smirk off his face when he let Dean get infected by the vampire. And he wasn't freaked and he didn't care about what Dean was going through. Jerk.
I liked Samuel a lot more last night. At least he seemed to care about Dean. But, I think he's right. Sam let Dean get infected knowing there was a cure because he wanted information on the nest and the Alpha. Poor Dean though. Going to say goodbye to Lisa and most likely losing her because maybe she's now realized just how dangerous his world is. I don't want him to lose her.
But, go Dean in the vampire's nest. You've made him look weak in the last few episodes when we all knew he's still as sharp as ever. Last night proved that. Who else do you know that can take out and entire building full of vampires? And yet more questions about what's going on in the world now. Why is the vampire Alpha building an army? For what?
Looks like some answers next week and that's very exciting. I don't know how much longer I can stand not knowing what's going on with Sam. I'm still in this for the long haul, but I'm not the only one who feels like something's been missing with the show (last week's episode not included, though there was that look on Sam's face when Bobby was yelling at them). Yeah, it's got to change, everything does, so I have high hopes for next week.
...and that is all for now.

Dear Supernatural People,
You definitely knocked this one out of the ballpark!! I love Bobby!!
And let's not forget Crowley. I love his character. I knew he wasn't going to just give Bobby his soul back after Sam went into the hole. I think we all did. I'd hoped he would, but that's just how it goes with demons. They can't be trusted. The peripheral monsters showing up in weird places was nicely done, a hint that things aren't exactly right in the world now, but not too much focus on what could be going on. Liked that a lot.
Poor Bobby. I was feeling pretty bad for him. All of the phone calls. The needy hunters. The neighbor who just wanted to get to know him. (And here I will insert...K4 happened to be watching. After the neighbor left she turned to me and said: "That's gross. He's like 30!" umm..yeah...) And then Rufus showed up. He's a great character. I love the interaction between he and Bobby the whole way through. Funny stuff.
Who knew that burning the original vessel's or dealmaker's bones could kill the demon? Very cool. And I love the effects on the demon living in the here and now.
Not too much Sam and Dean in this one. I love Sam and Dean, but I didn't mind. (And here I will insert again...K4 said: "Too bad you didn't get to see Sam and Dean too much in this one. You got stuck with the old guy.") But really, not much has changed with Sam and Dean. They're hunting together again *applause*, but still not quite right *boo*. It was nice to have a break from that. We all know something's wrong with Sam and it breaks my heart every week. Smug!Sam is getting old. I will say that.
And then the sheriff (love her) came through for Bobby, and then Sam and Dean did as well. Nice. And Crowley's son! I really thought Bobby had lost! He's so brilliantly smart, which is, of course, why he's Bobby. And why the original Crowley sold his soul in the first place! I really want to know why things were so terrible between him and his son. And I'd like to know what new ideas he's introduced into Hell. I'm glad Bobby's soul being not his was taken care of in one episode.
And the preview! Ack!
So...Way to go, Supernatural People! This episode goes onto my top ten list for sure. Thank you for a brilliant episode and a fatastic show!

Ack!

Dear Supernatural People,
Thank you. There was so much to love this week, though I still am unsettled with Sam. Not with his shirtless pull ups. At all. Ever. Because that is one of the most gorgeous sights I have ever seen in my entire life. Whew. I'd like to see more of that, from both brothers. Thankyouverymuch.
I loved the beginning with Dean and Lisa and Sam with his hooker (really Sam? I highly doubt you'd ever have to pay for it! What is up with that? I distinctly remember you telling Dean you would never have to pay when Cass pulled Dean from hell, and now you are? More proof that something's really up with you). I loved the cop and his pustules and his vodka drinking and "you can do better". And the locusts! Gross! But way cool. And then there's Cass! Whoot! I have to wonder again about Sam at this point, because why didn't Cass answer when Sam called, but comes immediately when Dean calls? Is it because it's not really Sam? The air quotes were hysterical from Cass. I liked that we weren't subjected to the Campbell family this week. I've had enough of them for a long while.
Lots of great dialogue and I loved that Sam's car got smashed by angels. (We cheered!) I'm digging the civil war in heaven angle and the missing weapons. Very cool.
So, I am totally sucked back in. I'm going to trust that you'll explain what's up with Sam and stop making it seem like Dean's weaker because he's been out of the game for a year. Don't like that much, but am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Dear Supernatural People,
I'd hoped to watch Friday's/Saturday's episode again before writing this post, but, sadly, it's not online yet. I missed small portions thanks to people talking and a glitch in the broadcast, so I'll do my best here.
First off, I'm sorry I judged you so harshly after the season premier. My faith in you is restored, though, you must know I'm not completely convinced this season is going to hit me in the same spots as previous seasons. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and am definitely along for the ride.
Sam was better this week, though still not himself, and that makes me even more confused/concerned over his smug reaction to Dean. Something's up with him and I hope it doesn't take too many episodes to find out what it is. I do like his new take charge attitude. I've always loved Bad!Sam, but Season6 Sam, while mostly perfect, is wrong. I liked when he pointed out how Dean was acting like their dad and how flustered he was with the baby.
Dean! Oh, Dean. So sad and conflicted and worried. Hella sexy with the baby, even when we wasn't quite sure what to do. I love Lisa and I hope nothing bad happens to her to keep Dean angry and on the road, even though he needs to be on the road. I want him to always have a safe place to go back to. I want he and Lisa to break the rules and make it work like she said.
Grandpa and the rest of the family...(though Harold from The Stand! Whoot!)...well, there's something wrong there. The lack of emotion to whichever one of them got killed, the lack of softness towards the baby - shifter or not. I can't wait to find out who Grandpa was talking to and exactly who pulled him back from the dead. I like the idea of the alpha monsters, but can't take too many more episodes without some kind of conclusion and emotional healing. I'm just sayin'.
So...I wait patiently and hopefully for this week's episode...The preview looks awesome, especially the part with shirtless Sam doing pull ups!

(No Tall Tale Tuesday this week. I should have saved the stinkbug ordeal, but oh well...)

Dear Supernatural People,
I'm not sure I can sum up how I feel after Friday's return! I'm not sure I even know how I feel yet, except I am so happy the boys are back!
Loved "new" Dean. Except he's not all "new", is he? I'm glad for that. I wouldn't have believed it if he had completely walked away from the life. He's got this undercurrent of angst and expectation that I love. Lisa is the perfect woman for Dean. I loved her lines and how accepting she was of Dean's need to keep her and Ben safe. Sam. Well, Sam. I love Sam, but not in this episode. He was cold and smug and a jackass. I hated his smugness when he was trying to prove himself to Dean and his hug was stupid and cold.
Here's the thing...I don't believe any of it. I don't believe Sam would get out of the cage and not immediately find his brother. Yeah, he'd be torn because he told Dean to get out and have a happy life, but if he came out of the cage right away, Dean wouldn't have had time to get happy. So, no, I don't believe that. I believe Bobby would encourage Sam to stay away, but even Bobby was off in this episode. I immediately disliked the cousins, and as much as I hate to say it, Samuel. They were all jerks and I don't buy that their influence coupled with what Sam went through is why Sam is so hardened. I also don't believe Sam's time in the cage made him what he is. Dean was in Hell a lot longer and while he had his issues, he needed his brother to get through. Sam would have, should have, come out with a better understanding for Dean and would want to talk to him about it. Plus, if he came out almost immediately, then...well, I just don't get it.
I don't believe Sam is Sam. Maybe I'm wrong, but this episode didn't feel like the new reality to me. Sam's car is pretty sweet. I like the new vs. old thing going on, but not the "it was nice seeing you again" line from Sam. Do. Not. Believe.
Ooh, but I just realized...even if Sam wasn't gone that long something terrible could have happened to him to make him honestly believe finding his brother was a bad idea. Hmm...I will have to let that soak in and see if it changes my knee jerk reaction to things being so wrong between Sam and Dean.
I think maybe you, Supernatural People, wanted us to feel this way. Okay. Fine. I am anxiously along for the ride to see what happens next. I've always trusted you.

Dear...
Dear September,
Ummm....you're seriously not holding up your end of the bargain. We're only nine days into the month, so I will give you another chance, but you've got to get your act together.
Dear Mother Nature,
Thank you.
Dear Flies,
Your time is over. Go away now.
Dear College Financials,
I am done with you. I mean, it seems I am never done with you, but seriously? I am tired of this never ending process.
Dear Supernatural People,
Two more weeks!! Hurry, please!
Dear Retrograde Mercury,
You can stop now. I am tired of getting the same email 65-million times when I know the person didn't send it that many times. I am tired of Internet glitches and haunted appliances.
Dear Truck,
I love you. Please don't die. I know you're old and tired, but I need you. Please start when I turn the key and stop making that noise.
Okay. That's enough for now.
