Not So Snowy Saturday

Okay, seriously. Where is the snow we were promised?
I happen to love snow. It's beautiful, and it's fun to drive in. If it's going to be cold out, it might as well be snowing. Stop throwing tomatoes. We haven't had a decent snowstorm in a very long time. Ice is the only thing we ever seem to get. Ice is stupid. As my niece put it, this lack of promised snow is "Rude, with a side of ignorant". Anyway. I didn't sign on here to talk about the weather.
A lot of time has passed since I began this post. Our chinese food was delivered. I ate. I checked email. I had three phone calls. And that's still not what I logged in to talk about. At this point, I'm not sure I remember anymore because even more time has passed. Like three hours!
I know I wanted to add to my Feel Good Friday post. I had the best thing happen that ended the day on a very high note. K1 came back from cashing his paycheck with a present for me. He brought me season 3 of Supernatural! Is he a great kid, or what? 5 days until a new episode!!
One thing I wanted to mention is a relatively new link on the left. Heartwild Solitaire. I was lucky enough to get to beta test this game. It's fantastic. Addictive and challenging. The people who created it are wonderful and I was honored to be able to help. Check it out. It's definitely worth it.
The past two days have been pretty hectic and I'm dying to get back to my edits. (I know, your dying for me to put more editing crap up, right? Ha! You have to tell me if you hate it, you know.) Despite being worried about what this year will bring, I'm optimistic. I'm excited to finish the edits on Into the Fire and get it out there. I'm excited to edit my anthology story and get it submitted. After that, I'll be starting something new. I'm not sure exactly what yet, but I'm excited about that, too.
Well, there you have it. A bunch of nonsense without much of a point. Maybe I'm incoherent because of my disappointment over the lack of snow.
Behave!

No snow, again. The weather forecasting has been horrendous this year. I want spring already.

If it's not going to snow, then it should be spring. I want snow though! A ton of it! One really good storm would suit me just fine!
What happened today was just sad! LOL

Where is that snow anyway? 6-7 inches? They are crazy!! I'm tired of all this ice!! I can't even get out my front door the sidewalk is so slippery!! And the parking lot--there is a person stuck on the ice right behind my car!!

Snow--bring on the snow!! If it's going to snow then I want to be snowed in--not iced in!!

Jim was saying Saturday that we need a really good dumping. We're due, too. It's been years since we had a big one, and that's usually how much time we get in between. Probably February or March, though--or even April. Only one came this early in the 16 years I've been living here, and I think that's the one that took out the bridge.

WV: poidly = the stupidly small amount of snow we got this weekend

I think you're right. I think that happened the year we moved in here. It snowed every Wednesday for months, then we got hit with a big storm in April or something. I can't remember exactly. We are due. I say...Bring it!

LOL on the wv. Very fitting!!

Yep, April of 1996, I think. And we had snow in early March 1999, the year we moved in here, because Jim was driving the moving van in the snow and I was 8 months pregnant and had a horrible premonition, didn't want to let him go without me (I was in the minivan behind the truck).

Most recent huge storm was a few years ago, when Number Two was still in preschool, school was closed for two days, and it was around February 17.
