Snow Day!

This snow day is exactly what I need!
Though now it's sleet and supposed to turn into freezing rain, we did get some snow before the switch over. Doesn't matter. It was enough to cancel school and any other plans I had to travel today. B took the 'burban to work, so there's not even a chance I'll get forced to go anywhere today. Whoot! We knew schools were on a delay before going to bed last night, so I got to sleep in. Always a good thing. Now it's catching up with myself and editing, and probably watching a little Lord of the Rings, too. Oh, and a nap. Definitely a nap.
Yesterday went so fast. I completely missed posting. I have my days all mixed up, too. I think it's Tuesday for some reason. So, maybe I'll come back later with a Tall Tale Tuesday post. Depending.
For now, I'm going to catch up on my email, start laundry, and enjoy the day.
Behave!

I'm going to be sorry we had this day come March when we have to make it up, but for right now, it's so lovely. Hope we don't lose electricity. Have the soundtrack of Last of the Mochicans playing in the background and soundtrack from Lord of the Rings is coming on next.

I got to sleep in, too, and I'll be happy when we have to make it up in March because it will mean a bonus school day! LOL I think my perspective is a little different from a schoolteacher's. :)

Nice, Sue!
I'm with Nat though. I'm not going to be sorry for this day come March. But if I were in your shoes I'd feel differently. :)

Ha! I did hear some terrifying news this morning about US and your snow problem. Sounded harsh :( They said about million of people are without electricity, and such. Crazy.

But I liked your summary better: "No school! Wooot!", hehe :P

LOL, Darek!!
Sleeping in always gets a whoot from me! :)
Luckily, it's not that bad where I'm at! We got a few inches topped with ice, but the electricity stayed on.
